Visual Novels.
I hope GOG listens and adds more of them. There are just a few and literally only one of them is an otome visual novel (Amnesia Memories, to be especific). It'd be cool if they added more titles. There are some cool ones around there and they're really popular.
Dear GOG,
I could really hope GOG can bring Visual Novels to GOG. Please consider.
This would be absolutely wonderful. It would give me even a wider range Of products to buy from GOG. Otherwise that money goes to steam and I would prefer it go to GOG instead.
Make it happen, GOG!
Put Visual Novels in GOG and we can start talking about money, fella. =) I'm from ps2 age, even though I played a lot of games, VIsual Novels are quite unique, you can play it, even if you have a shitty computer, so be my guest and compare why people play and why they love this genre. =)
I realy wish we had more visuel novels on gog.
Yes please!
Thanks for explaining. I was wondering why so few VN are on gog.
I hope some find their way here..
would certainly buy visual novels, especially Japanese.
i would like to see the good novels too ;)
iam kinda with gog on this ... we dont need every sakura crap
but id buy the good stuff like "steins gate" / "along the edge" / "cinders" etc in a heartbeat
also i want to see the virtual fighting fantasy books like sorcery1-4 / warlock of firetop mountain aka all the stuff tin man games and tinkle have made
i'd like to see some vn's drm-free. steam has been jumping on some big ones lately and cut content and drm blows.
I'd be in total support of this. Admittedly I have only started to take a look at VN's but there are two major issues that hold me back - DRM and Cut Content. In the later case I'd like to say CDPR is no stranger to mature content but lets face it some of this gets a bit extreme. The former is probably the major stumbling block with some companies. Idk. Just my assumption since some of the companies translating these are selling DRM'd copies off their websites.
To those that say they aren't games... gog sells movies, right? Sure they don't sell books but why not? DRM free self published novels/comics? Of course they might need to consider starting a sister brand for that and bundling it under one umbrella site.
I've just learned about this “policy” today. This is just ridiculous %)
It would be shame to miss a whole genre. GOG wake up!
