In the vein of D*mRL, it's being developed by a legit developer and not just another asset flip on Steam. I would love to buy this on GoG so I wouldn't have to give money to Steam.

Developers have always released previous games for free (and just today went open-source with DoomRL). It's only natural that an honest DRM-free release platform would make a great fit.

Also, if it's a question of it being a good game: I've played DoomRL some 3000 times. I've tried finding games like it, a true turn-based roguelike that focuses on fast-paced ranged combat and diverse play styles, and they don't... exist? Except, possibly, for Jupiter Hell.

The developer also made DoomRL and its sibling games. That says to me that they are 100% serious about this game.
