http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games#search=collector%27s%20cd&order=votes_totalTolya: Guys, GOG version of the game has all of the 13 battles, which means both expansions are there. I have no idea why the gamecard isn't listing the Enemies of the Empire, I'll check with the relevant people.
tfishell: Nice, but http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars:_TIE_Fighter#Release says, "In 1995, TIE Fighter also received a Collector's CD-ROM. The CD-ROM version offered optional enhanced SVGA graphics, increasing the game's resolution from 320x200 to 640x480.[2] The cinematic cutscenes were also enhanced, and the game received numerous voiceovers. The CD-ROM includes the previously released Defender of the Empire expansion and an additional Enemies of the Empire expansion."
Couldn't you add the Collector's CD for the increased resolution? Or does it have issues in DOSBox?
Hopefully it gets sorted out eventually and you make fans happy. :)
I can confirm that TIE 95 runs fine on my Win 7 (64 bit) system. I followed a guide I found via Google, needs DOSBox as you'd expect but runs fine in SVGA.
For my setup, I googled "tie fighter collectors windows 7 dosbox". Scroll down 'til you see the "How to get TIE Fighter: Collector's CD running in DOSbox" (I can't post links).
Easy peasy.
